Los Willows Estate Wedding with Caleb & Alysson

Los Willows is a popular Fallbrook outdoor wedding venue that I enjoy photographing events at. It is one of the most complete venues in San Diego county, allowing the bride and groom to have their entire celebration in just one location. Los Willows offers a spacious salon for the bride and friends to take care of their makeup and the first wedding duties. When hair and makeup finish, the bride can move to the bridal suite, where she can get dressed. Meanwhile, the groom and friends have a great place to get ready and hang out, just down the hall from the ladies.

Aside from great getting-ready spots, Los Willows offers a unique, secluded area for wedding ceremonies. A large lake right in the middle of the property allows the bride and groom to take a little boat ride while relaxing after the ceremony. The reception usually happens in their permanent tent, right next to the lake. Los Willows has many locations that are great for portraits of the bride and groom, and I enjoy exploring them.

Parking at Lost Willow Estate is limited, so it is best to use their shuttle service for wedding guests. The shuttle is convenient for the guests that will not need to drive on the dirt roads near this Fallbrook wedding venue. Los Willows have a catering service, and the food is excellent.

I met Caleb and Allyson when I photographed their Mission Trails engagement session earlier this year. I knew right away that we were a good fit together.

We had some time to chat during the hike at Mission Trails, and it was nice getting to know them a little.

The wedding day started with the girls getting ready at the Los Willows Estate salon. They were excited for the bride and groom while taking care of the last details for the day. Allyson and her bridesmaids moved to the bridal suite when everything was ready. After all the getting-ready events, the couple was excited about their Los Willows Estate wedding ceremony.

It was a beautiful and emotional ceremony, where the guests witnessed Caleb and Allyson become a married couple at Los Willows. The Pastor of their church and a longtime friend performed the wedding ceremony. I always think it’s more special when someone meaningful to the couple performs their wedding ceremony. Sun was starting to go down, so after some family photos, we took some time for bride and groom portraits. I was ready to explore Los Willows Estates with the newlyweds.

We took photos of the upper lawn and the bridge over the small river. I always enjoy using bridges or pathways to compose pictures. That’s photography that I always try to take at Los Willows Estate weddings. We also explored a little of the lakeside path and pier. Caleb and Allyson took the time for themselves and sat at the pier in the lake at sunset. When the sun was down, and we were happy with the photos, the couple joined their guests for the reception.

After dinner, we had a smooth and fun wedding reception. After toasts from the families, best man, and maid of honor, we had some dancing. The guests were excited and celebrating. Caleb and Allyson are great dancers and were ready to take the lead at Los Willow Estate. They didn’t allow the dance floor to be empty, and their guests were right behind them. They cut their wedding cake, Allyson tossed her bouquet and enjoyed their last dance. Before leaving their family and friends, the couple had a grand exit, where everyone aligned as they Left Los Willows Estate for their new lives.

It was a pleasure working with Allyson and Caleb for their San Diego engagement session and wedding. I wish the couple the best of luck in the future.
