Mount Palomar Winery Wedding with Cara & Jaqueline

Brides kissing at vineyard at Mt. Palomar same sex Winery Wedding portrait session

It’s always exciting to photograph in a wedding venue for the first time, and it was no different at my first Mount Palomar Winery wedding. Temecula is one of my favorite locations for San Diego weddings and engagement sessions. There’s always a lot of space and nature to explore and interesting backgrounds to use.

I always mention how diversified San Diego weddings are. It’s a place where you can always find a location that suits you. Downtown San Diego offers an urban feel, but you can choose a beach wedding, Estate wedding, Resort-style wedding, or a winery like this one at Mount Palomar Winery wedding.

The day started with Cara and Jaqueline getting ready separately with their closest friends. Jaqueline chose Temecula Creek Inn for her getting ready, while Cara stayed at their beautiful rental home in Temecula. They were both excited to tie the knot on that beautiful spring afternoon at Mount Palomar Winery.

We headed to Mount Palomar Winery for their first look. They had a great time revealing their wedding outfits and taking a few portraits. We explored some of Mount Palomar Winery grounds and ended at their vineries that were starting to grow in spring. Cara and Jaqueline went into hiding when the guests started to arrive at the ceremony site.

It was a beautiful Temecula outdoor ceremony. Mount Palomar Winery wedding ceremonies have a gorgeous background, with several other wineries and mountains. Jaqueline and Cara exchanged vows that they wrote themselves. It was a very emotional time. Both cried, and they dried each other’s tears as they spoke. I don’t think that there was a single dry eye in this Mount Palomar winery wedding ceremony. One of the couple’s closest friends performed the ceremony, and in my opinion, this always makes it more special.

Jaqueline and Cara walked out of the aisle laughing, celebrating, and proudly holding hands. After a few family photos and couple’s portraits at Mount Palomar winery, Jaqueline and Cara were ready to party with their friends and family. The cocktail hour ended and it was time for the wedding reception.

A few speeches later and dinner was served. After that, we had a few more formalities and a lot of dancing from the guests. They were a young and fun crowd, and everyone seemed ready for some dancing.

It was my first Mount Palomar winery wedding, and I can say that I’m a big fan. It’s a place I would like to photograph again when it comes to Temecula weddings. I wish Cara and Jaqueline the best of luck in their new lives as a married couple.
