Justin & Eileen’s La Jolla Women’s Club Wedding

Closeup couple in wedding attire holding flowers before La Jolla Women's Club celebration in La Jolla

It was my first La Jolla Women’s Club wedding, and I couldn’t be more excited. Justin and Eileen are two of the most fun to be around people I know. I had a lot of fun during their engagement session a few months ago. They brought their convertible Audi A4 to the session, and we drove around Carlsbad and Encinitas, searching for some good spots to photograph.

The wedding day started at their La Jolla rental house. In addition to her family and friends, Eileen was getting ready for the big day. Lot was going on. Justin and his friends were getting ready at a nearby hotel.

We met at the wedding venue for the first look at the bride and groom. Everyone was excited about this wedding celebration that was about to happen.

The first look followed some bride and groom portraits inside the property. Due to the extra time we gave, we took some family photos out of the way before the ceremony. It’s always more relaxing for the couple when we can accomplish that.

The ceremony was gorgeous. The backlit arch with the flowers was one of my favorite backgrounds from recent wedding ceremonies.

Now, it was time to party! But not before I was able to take the couple for a quick portrait session at the beach. It was something we had previously planned, so everything ran smoothly. We were back in time for the grand entrance.

The couple and the guests partied hard during the reception. Aside from the time the couple cut the cake, everyone was on the dance floor. It was a memorable La Jolla Women’s club wedding.
